The PAC-Public Action Committee (Regd.) envisions a clean, green, water-secure, and ecologically resilient Punjab built on the principles of environmental responsibility, scientific intervention, and community-led action. We envision pollution-free rivers, thriving Mattewara Jungles, clean air, protected aquifers, and sustainable land use.

Our vision is to establish a people-driven environmental governance model where citizens actively participate in protecting natural resources and ensuring ecological balance for present and future generations. PAC seeks to create a future where environmental protection is recognized as essential to public health, sustainable development, and the long-term well-being of Punjab.

PAC’s mission is to protect, restore, and preserve Punjab’s natural ecosystems through awareness, scientific documentation, community engagement, and environmental advocacy. We work to strengthen water security, conserve forests and biodiversity, promote clean air, and encourage sustainable land use practices.

Through transparency, public participation, and collaboration with institutions and stakeholders, PAC is committed to building a sustainable environmental future guided by accountability, knowledge, and collective responsibility.

Goal: Strengthen and Protect Mattewara Jungles

Mattewara Jungles represent one of Punjab’s most important ecological zones. PAC is committed to protecting forests and promoting biodiversity restoration through citizen participation and conservation awareness.
