The PAC-Public Action Committee (Regd.) is a citizen-led collective committed to the protection, restoration, and preservation of Punjab’s vital natural ecosystems—particularly the Mattewara Jungles, River Satluj, and Buddha Darya.
Driven by a shared sense of responsibility, PAC brings together citizens, environmental advocates, professionals, researchers, and community members who are dedicated to safeguarding the region’s natural heritage. The committee serves as a platform to raise awareness, encourage informed dialogue, and promote collective action for environmental protection.
PAC focuses on protecting rivers from pollution, preserving forests and biodiversity, and promoting awareness about air quality and its impact on human health. Through documentation, public engagement, and responsible advocacy, PAC works to highlight environmental concerns and support sustainable solutions.
